Common Questions

What does RAD Moto Adventures Provide?

RAD Moto Adventures is your premier destination for guided adventure tours! We specialize in trip coordination for motorcycle tours, providing you with expert recommendations for routes, accommodations and dining options. We work with motorcyclists of all levels of experience to create unforgettable adventures.

What is required of each rider to bring on their tour?

Each rider is required to bring a street or dual sport/adventure motorcycle that they are comfortable with riding off-road along with a helmet, boots, gloves, eye protection and tools for possible trailside fixes. All riders should have snacks and water for each days' ride.

How will I know where to go?

RAD Moto Adventures uses a phone-based app that we will help you download to your phone.  Once the app is loaded, the routes will be sent and stored for offline use when out of cell signal area. The app will show the correct route on your phone and give audible directions if you have bluetooth connectivity to your helmet.

What can I expect for each ride?

Each RAD Moto Adventures tour will vary in technicality based on geography, locations of routes, and legality of roads traveled. Each single day ride will consist of 125-150 miles. Most two-day rides will be approximately 175-300 in total length miles, with most being off-road for those riding dual sport/adventure motorcycles. At RAD Moto Adventures, we pride ourselves in the perfect off-road combination of scenic dirt fire roads to moderate, and sometimes rocky, singletrack.

Where do RAD Moto Adventures rides stage from?

All RAD Moto Adventures rides will stage from a predetermined private property location. Most rides will stage from a local hotel for meet and greet and rider meeting.

Is there a chase truck?

Currently there is no chase truck but there will be sweepers on each route.
